Beyond the Bus: What is Microtransit?⁠

Last week we talked about first-mile, last-mile solutions. The modes of transportation often used for last-mile or first-mile solutions are referred to as microtransit. Microtransit is a form of demand-responsive transport. This transit service offers highly flexible routing and/or highly flexible scheduling of minibus vehicles like ZipZones or bikes from services like Fort Worth Bike Sharing.
